Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.

Applications are invited for locums to fill various vacancies to provide backfill for leave in the Alfred Emergency department between August 2024 and February 2025. 
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.
  • Fellowship of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine.
  • Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Emergency Medicine.
  • Meets Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Emergency Medicine. 
  • Experience in teaching and an involvement in research are desirable.
