 About the Role

 Applications are invited for a Locum Specialist in Infant, Child, Youth and Headspace Psychiatry (Full Time) at Alfred Health.

This position is to provide backfill due to Sabbatical Leave and Long Service Leave from 20 February 2025 to 11 January 2026.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:

Be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

  • Fellow of the RANZCP
  • Hold a subspecialty certificate in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Psychiatry
  • Meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Psychiatry
  • Outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels
  • Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/ other teams.
