Applications are open for a Locum Consultant Specialist in Aged Care / Geriatric Medicine to join the dynamic Health of Older Persons Department at Alfred Health to work 21 hours per week backfilling parental leave from 17 Feb 2025 through to 20 July 2025. 

The Health of Older Persons Department supervises Advanced Trainees in Geriatric Medicine and values a commitment to quality patient orientated care through collaboration and research.

Suitable applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent. Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Geriatric Medicine, specifically within Trauma or Perioperative Medicine, is required as well as meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Geriatric Medicine.
