About us

Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is responsible for the operation of services, which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.
Our mission in AMAH is to enable people of all ages to lead their own meaningful and purposeful lives by providing innovative, compassionate, and collaborative mental health and wellbeing treatment, care and support.
The newly developed Wellbeing & Therapeutic Stream of Adult and Older Adult Services is focused on providing evidence-based therapies that build resilience and the capacity to self manage and  lead meaningful lives. This service will be integral in driving service reform and developing wellbeing and engagement capacity building across AMAH Services.

What you’ll be doing

This is a new and innovative Allied Health leadership position which will work collaboratively with consumers, carers and families to co-design the Wellbeing & Therapeutic Stream. This role will help drive service reform and implement service expansion, increase choices for our consumer and carer and help improve access to services through the provision of new service offerings and expanded hours.

About you

  • Approved tertiary qualifications and membership with either the Occupational Therapy Board or Psychology Board via AHPRA, or eligible with AASW
  • Discipline specific Post Graduate qualifications
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Australian working rights
  • Full Covid-19 and 2023 Influenza vaccination
  • Be willing to undergo a Background Check
