Sandringham Hospital Work Experience Program 2020
The Sandringham Hospital Secondary School Student Work Experience program provides students with an opportunity to gain an understanding and awareness across the hospital including the role the hospital has in the delivery of elective surgery, general medical, Allied Health, women's health and maternity services.
This program is offered to students undertaking years 10-12. Students participating in the program are given the opportunity to spend one week in a variety of departments at Sandringham Hospital to observe only in daily activities.
During your placement at Sandringham Hospital you will visit over 10 departments within the week which include:
Ward G2 - General Surgery
Ward F2 - Medical Unit
Ward F3 - Maternity
Special Care Nursery
