Alfred Health offers a Specialist Women’s Mental Health Centre (SWMHC) in partnership with Ramsay Health & Goulburn Valley Health, located at 2 sites: Ramsay Clinic- Albert Road (30 beds or bed equivalents [B/BE]) and Shepparton Private Hospital (5 B/BEs). The unit provides a state-wide comprehensive specialist service for women and those who identify as women experiencing severe mental ill-health. Our care is trauma-informed and wellness-focused.

About the Role
Applications are invited for Specialists in Psychiatry at Alfred Health. We are currently recruiting various positions (Full Time and Fractional) including a 0.5/0.5 split job between the Alfred IPU and the SWMHS inpatient unit.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:
- Be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Fellow of the RANZCP
- Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Psychiatry
- Meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Psychiatry
- Outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills
- Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels
- Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/ other teams.
