About us

headspace Early Psychosis is one of the world’s most innovative and comprehensive youth early psychosis programs being delivered through one program in each Australian state. Through this initiative, young people and their families have timely access to comprehensive evidence-based early psychosis services. This program aims to intervene early with young people who have unusual sensory experiences and/or beliefs and their families and supporters. The service builds on strengths and resilience, uses the wisdom of lived experience and fosters hope, potential, and recovery.

What you’ll be doing

As the acting Team Leader, you will provide clinical leadership and line management for staff within the Continuing Care Team (CCT). You will also oversee the access and entry to all elements of the headspace service system through the local headspace centre.

About you

  • Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership with the relevant professional registering body: Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, Psychology Board of Australia or Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Extensive experience providing mental health and Alcohol and other Drug assessment and intervention in partnership with young people and families
  • Experience in leading teams and effecting a positive multidisciplinary team environment
  • Australian working rights
  • Full Covid-19 and 2023 Influenza vaccination
  • Current Victorian Driver's License
  • Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check
