The Department

Ward 4 East is a 40-bed Acute General Medical ward, providing care to patient with acute and chronic disease. A dynamic ward, patients are admitted from ED, ICU and the community. As a nurse on 4 East, you will be working within an interdisciplinary team, you have a voice to advocate for your patient’s and provide timely.

The Role

As a clinical nurse, your practice will lead to excellent inpatient care. You understand the importance of establishing a relationship between you and your patient. You demonstrate the core nursing values, align with our Patients Come First strategy and support diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current Registered Nurse Division 1 registration with the Nurses Board of Victoria
• Recent, post registration experience within an acute nursing setting.
• Demonstrated ability in the following areas of nursing:
  • Solutions focused when providing patient centred care.
  • Communicate effectively between patients, families and health care teams.
  • Knowledge of computer and IT systems, with experience in using electronic medical records.
  • Advocate for patients in your care.
