  • Fixed Term - 12 Month Contract

Melbourne Health Centre (MSHC) has been in operation for more than 90 years having been established in 1917 as a specialised unit for the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The service has established a reputation for clinical excellence by providing high quality sexual health care.

MSHC provides clinical sexual health and HIV services for Victorians and has a strong research and education focus.


The Role

We are seeking a nurse with proven experience in the areas of research and/or sexual health who fulfils the requirements of the position description.

This position is particularly centred around studies to improve the management of bacterial vaginosis (BV) and Mycoplasma genitalium (MG). 



  • Experience in sexual health and/or research nursing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain study databases
  • Ability to prepare the material for qualitative and quantities research methods.
