  • Classification – HS4 with above award salary available commensurate with experience

The Department

The Business and Strategy Unit, provides strategic support to the Home, Acute and Community (HAC) Executive to ensure that the program supports Alfred Health to meet its strategic objectives, and deliver on priority initiatives as described in the annual Quality and Business Improvement Plan.  The Unit does this through promoting a culture of innovation, embedding improvement science capability amongst our staff and overseeing a robust performance and planning framework to inform our efforts. Our core values include co-design with consumers, internal and external stakeholders and a positive attitude to change.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic clinical leader with management experience to join the Business and Strategy team. The Performance and Planning Coordinator, working closely with organisational leads in CPU, ensures the Home, Acute and Community (HAC) Program meets reporting requirements, maintains a robust performance monitoring framework, and builds capacity in HAC service managers to utilise information to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

As part of a cohesive leadership team, the Performance and Planning Coordinator will work closely with the Manager Improvement and Innovation to deliver quality and business improvement plans, and collaboratively with our operational and professional leads within HAC.



  • Experience in health service leadership and an understanding of health services and service delivery objectives
  • Well-developed data analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and establish positive relationships
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Highly effective communication skill and ability to present data and information with impact


  • Strong business and report writing ability
