Alfred Health is the main provider of health services to people in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne and is also a major provider of specialist services to people across Victoria.  The Health Service operates three outstanding facilities: The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham.

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Alfred provides a consultative service to the Trauma Department as part of one of the Level1 Major Trauma Centres in Victoria.  In addition, The Alfred campus has access to the Alfred Centre, a stand-alone but co-located elective surgery centre.

Applications are invited for the position of Locum Visiting Medical Officer in Orthopaedic Surgery (Alfred).

Applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Orthopaedic Surgery is required as well as meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Orthopaedic Surgery.
