The Department
Caulfield and Sandringham Nurse Pool support a wide range of services for both campuses. The Nurse Pool provides the supplementary workforce promoting effective seamless care from acute care back to the community. Our staff covers emergency, acute ward, geriatric ward, geriatric psychiatric, rehabilitation, and community care within Caulfield and Sandringham campuses.
The Role
Our Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program is designed for first-year enrolled nurses and provides a supportive environment for the consolidation and further development of knowledge and skills. Working as an Enrolled Nurse at Caulfield Hospital, you will have the unique experience of working across a wide range of general and speciality areas. The focus at Caulfield Hospital is to provide patient-centred care, as well as support to family, friends and the community.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Be a motivated individual who enjoys the challenge of working in a team environment
- Possess a strong understanding and background in Patient-Centred care
- Have the ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, staff, and visitors
- Be available to work on a rotating roster (morning, afternoon & night duty)
