The Alfred Paediatric Lung Transplant Service is the only national Paediatric Lung transplant service. The psychological needs of Paediatric and adolescent lung transplant candidates and their families includes pre-transplant, acute post-transplant and long-term survivorship issues.
Applications are invited for the position of Clinical Psychologist in our Paediatric Lung Transplant Service. You would be working with the Medical Head of the Paediatric Lung Transplant Service, responsible for supporting patient psychological requirements as part of the Paediatric lung transplant multidisciplinary clinical team.
This position would be professionally supported through the Lung Transplant Service and the Psychology Services Department.
The ideal candidate will have;
Registration under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009.
Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009.
Approved Psychology Board of Australia Supervisor
Master or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
Working with Children Check
Experience in providing psychological services to children, adolescents and young adults.
Demonstrated clinical competence at a senior level, and extensive experience in the application of clinical psychology in a variety of settings including general health services.
