Full time - 80 hours per fortnight plus ADO
Based at The Alfred
Predominately Night Duty shifts, working in triage and Emergency Department.
THE ROLE -
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Consultation-Liaison and Emergency Psychiatry team in a variety of settings. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work within the CATT, EPS (within ED) and Triage.
In this role, you will conduct mental health assessments, devise treatment plans within a community setting and in the Emergency Department/triage. You will be based at The Alfred and will predominately work Night Duty shifts in the emergency department/triage. You may also be required to work day shift to maintain professional development and fill any rostering vacancies.
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE -
Current and unrestricted registration with AHPRA
Tertiary qualifications in mental health– Postgraduate diploma or equivalent
Be familiar with and adhere to relevant professional codes of ethics, the values of Alfred Health, and relevant legislation, in particular, the Mental Health Act (1986) and the Guardianship & Administration Act (1986).
Extensive and recent post graduate experience including having worked within a community setting (desired)
