Alfred Health - Occupational Therapy Services operates across The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham Hospitals, with clinical services aligned to Alfred Health's strategic goals and operational performance targets.
The Occupational Therapy Service is committed to the provision of high-quality, evidence-based care, and strongly values professional development and clinical supervision. Clinical service provision is focused on inpatient acute, rehabilitation and aged care streams, for diverse patient populations including emergency, general medicine, surgical, orthopaedic, neurological, trauma, spinal, amputee and burns/plastics speciality units.
The Position Summary
An exciting opening awaits a Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to become a valued member of our welcoming and supportive team at Alfred Health. At our institution, all team members benefit from ongoing clinical supervision and training through Grade 1 education programs. This position provides an opportunity to work independently while developing Grade 1 skills within a highly supportive clinical environment. The grade 1 will participate in the Grade 1 rotational program,in which the Occupational Therapist will develop invaluable skills across a diverse range of clinical areas. At Alfred Health's Occupational Therapy Service, we offer regular clinical supervision and avenues for continuous professional development, ensuring a dynamic and fulfilling career path for our dedicated therapists.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Grade 1 level (new graduates and post-graduate experience welcomed to at apply)
- Full Registration held (or eligible) with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
- Member of OT Australia (or eligibility for membership)
