The role is a research officer who will be involved in multiple aspects of clinical trials. The research officer will coordinate the implementation of clinical trial procedures under the general direction of the supervisor. He/she will be responsible for advertising, screening, recruitment, assessment of participants, data collection, data entry, record keeping, safety monitoring, assistance of ethics application/amendment, and liaising with stakeholders in facilitating conduct of clinical trials.
We are looking for persons who are highly organised, able to perform multitask, working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication and reporting skills; Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point proficiency and ability to accurately record data, results and manage databases and spreadsheet
- Ability to manage time effectively and project management skills
- High ethical and scientific integrity and rigorous adherence to protocols
- Ability to multitask, working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders
