DEPARTMENT:

Alfred Health’s Public Affairs and Communications Department is responsible for the organisation’s strategic reputational management ensuring that its brand position and stakeholder relationships contribute to achieving the organisation’s long-term goals.

The group is responsible for corporate communications, external affairs, media relations, community engagement internal engagement and digital communications. The group has been expanded with redefined roles and several new positions.

POSITION:

The role of Multimedia Producer is an integral part of the expanded Public Affairs and Communications team.

This maternity leave contract position would suit a Multimedia and Video Production Specialist who can develop, produce and edit video content primarily for use on online channels.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Undergraduate degree in a related discipline included Communications, Media and/or Journalism.
  • Editing and post-production expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition and Adobe Media Encoder.
  • Two to three years’ experience in video production, public affairs or a related discipline. 
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and different video export requirements for different channels such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Experience in healthcare is an advantage
