The Alfred Gastroenterology Department is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with suspected or established gastrointestinal and liver disease referred directly to the Gastroenterology unit or referred for investigation and management from other units within The Alfred as outpatients in the Hepatitis, Liver, Hepatoma, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, PEG and Endoscopy clinics.
The Enrolled Nurse (EN2) positions is a clinical role responsible for clinical outcomes under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager.
This part-time position involves a key role in a team of healthcare workers to provide a medical/support services to patients with chronic liver disease through our Hepatitis and Liver outpatients’ clinics.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
Demonstrates the appropriate competencies and skills as per the relevant Enrolled Nurse classification
Current and satisfactory Police Check
Current and satisfactory Working With Children Check (where relevant) as per Working With Children
