Nurse Unit Manager - Alfred Centre
Full Time Position, 76 hours per fortnight

Based at the Alfred
The Alfred Centre Operating Suite (ACOS) consists of 6 theatres, 3 procedure rooms, a day surgery admission and discharge area. It operates under the governance of Surgical Services organisationally reporting to the Alfred Operating Suite Manager, Deputy Director of Operations and Nursing and the Director of Operations.
The Nurse Manager is a professional and clinical leader in Nursing Services and plays a pivotal role in meeting broader organisational imperatives. The Nurse Manager operationalizes the core values of Nursing at Alfred Health by ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff. She /He is accountable for developing staff to deliver excellence in clinical practice, and is responsible for managing clinical risk and implementing systems to improve patient outcomes.
The Nurse Manager facilitates effective patient access to clinical services managing both financial and human resources to meet these needs.
CurrentRegistered Nurse Division 1 Registration with AHPRA
Extensiverelevant clinical experience in acute care nursing and in a clinical leadership role
Postgraduate qualifications in management or working towards an equivalent qualification
Current and satisfactory Police Check
