The Alfred Centre
Alfred Health is the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne. The Monash University Central Clinical School (CCS) is based at The Alfred Hospital and provides medical student education to more than 300 medical students each year.
The administrative assistant is responsible for the delivery of professional administrative services to support the CCS Medical Student programs. They will often serve as the first point of contact for enquiries from academics, students and professional staff. The role includes providing a range of administrative tasks including customer service, responding to queries, input and maintenance of data, producing reports and providing advice to students, staff and other stakeholders.
Administration skills and experience with a demonstrated capacity to deliver effective processes and systems
Sound organisational skills, including the ability to manage time and meet deadlines
Ability to work as an effective member of a team as well as independently under general supervision
Well‑developed communication skills, including the ability to draft documentation and interact positively with colleagues and clients
Demonstrated computer literacy, data entry and word-processing skills including experience using business software such as Microsoft Office
