Fairfield House currently has 15 medical beds, the primary focus of our department is Infectious Diseases (HIV and General) and Cystic Fibrosis patients.
We are seeking a passionate, motivated and dedicated registered nurse with leadership experience to join the Alfred Health team as an Associate Nurse Manager in Fairfield House.
The Associate Nurse Manager is a member of the interdisciplinary leadership team in Fairfield House who assists the Nurse Manager to operationalize the core values of the organisation and plays a pivotal role in meeting broader organisational imperatives.
The role supports excellence in clinical practice and ensures the vision of the ward and organisation is consistently reflected in professional practice and patient care.
Together with the Nurse Manager the Associate Nurse Manager is responsible for managing clinical risk and implementing systems and processes to improve patient outcomes. Facilitating timely quality care and flow access across the continuum of care is also a fundamental component of the role.
