  • Assistant in Nursing (AIN) position
  • Permanent, Part-Time position
  • 36 hours per fortnight, Wednesday-Friday 0700-1330 position

The Department:
Ward 7 West is a 36 bed acute medical ward caring for patients admitted under the care of the Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology and Palliative Care medical units.  
The 7 West team focuses on a team nursing model of care to deliver patient centred care. 
The Role:
The role of the AIN is to provide support to the nursing team in the delivery of safe and quality patient centred care. The AIN works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse at all times. A clear list of AIN duties and excluded duties can be found in the attached position description. 

Qualifications and Experience:
If you have a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Acute), a prior experience or a willingness to work in the healthcare setting and would like to join a supportive team apply today!
