Applications are invited for the position of Acting Deputy Director of Epilepsy to provide Sabbatical Leave backfill from 18th August 2025 to 16th November 2025 working 5 non-clinical per week for leadership activities.

The Deputy Director of Epilepsy reports to the Director of Epilepsy, and is responsible for supporting the clinical and research leadership of the Alfred Health Epilepsy Unit.

Appointees must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Neurology and Epileptology is required as well as meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Neurology and video-EEG monitoring/epilepsy surgery evaluations.
