Personal Assistant to Clinical Service Director of Cancer Services

  • Permanent position
  • Full-time: 76 hrs per f/n, part-time hours may be considered
  • Classification: Administrator Grade 3, $80,033.20 per annum + superannuation (pro-rata)

The Department

The Cancer Services Program at Alfred Health is responsible for the overall delivery of a number of services catering for our patients needs. The program incorporates, Haematology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Therapy, The Victorian Melanoma service, Dermatology and Palliative care service. We provide inpatient and ambulatory services across the organisation. Research is a significant part of the cancer service program and we have built partnerships with several institutions to create a strong research service. We provide a multidisciplinary approach to our patients including, medical, nursing and allied health services.

Position Summary

The Personal Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the Clinical Service Director for Alfred Cancer Services, of a busy service that is currently undergoing development of a new Cancer Facility. The position is the initial contact for enquiries. Main duties include diary management, meeting coordination, assisting with enquiries and document development.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Essential

  • Previous Personal or Executive Assistant experience
  • Strong computer skills with proven Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible and amendable to change

Desired

  • Degree qualification preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with Alfred IT systems including CSC, Cerner and scheduling
