About the Role
Applications are invited for the position of Specialist in Cardiology (Fractional) at Alfred Health. This position is for 0.5 EFT and will be required to join the Cath Lab, Ward/on-call roster, rotate to regional centres and also do MBS clinic. 
Qualifications and Skills Required
Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:
1.    Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice
2.    Fellow of the relevant college
3.    Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Cardiology
4.    Coronary as well structural heart expertise required
5.    Meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Cardiology
6.    Outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills
7.    Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels
8.    Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/ other teams.
9.    Expertise in structural heart and right heart catheterisation is essential, including patients with severe pulmonary hypertension
