The Department

The Prosthetic and Orthotic Department in conjunction with the Amputee Unit, aims to provide a full range of rehabilitation services to cater for the needs of clientele with limb deficiencies, musculoskeletal and/or neuromuscular deformities.

The Role

Participate and play an active role in the Technical provision of Prosthetic/Orthotic services to clientele referred to the Prosthetic and Orthotic Department. The Prosthetic and Orthotic Department is committed to providing the best care to patients whilst ensuring the professionalism of our department at all times. 

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • No formal qualifications necessary
  • Some prosthetic/orthotic technical experience preferred
  • Competence with hand and powered tools
  • Knowledge and experience with technical workshop practices
  • Drivers licence required
