The Department
Alfred Health Support Services provides non-clinical support services across Alfred Health. These services include cleaning services, car parking and fleet management, waste management, gardens and grounds, distribution, security and access control, ward support, linen services, ancillary services, food services and hospitality.
The Role
The Workforce Team Leader plays a pivotal role within the Alfred Health Support Services (AHSS) Workforce Team. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely rostering and payroll sign-off for all AHSS employees. The role also supports recruitment, onboarding and proactive leave management, while providing leadership and guidance to the Workforce Roster Coordinators. The Workforce Team Leader ensures high-quality service delivery, fosters collaboration and drives continuous improvement in workforce operations.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Essential
- Minimum three years’ experience in rostering and scheduling within aged care, disability, or health service environments, including proficiency with employee scheduling software
Desirable
- Previous experience in a Public Health setting
- An administration, business or public health qualification
