The Department

The Digital Health Division is responsible for enabling clinical staff to deliver timely, quality care to our patients and carers through innovative use of information technologies, and through strategic management of information and data across the organisation. 

The division encompasses all aspects of:

  • Information technology procurement, delivery, security and support.
  • Electronic Medical Record design, development and support, including the electronic Timely Quality Care Program
  • General applications support
  • Data Governance and security

 

The Project

Alfred Health has commissioned the Interconnected Care and Command Centre projects to optimise patient care coordination, improve patient access, maximise resource utilisation, and enhance the overall healthcare experience for both patients and employees through innovative technologies, process enhancements and new care models.

 

The Position Summary

This is a highly collaborative position with the Digital Health and Operation teams. The Digital Health Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the successful coordination and governance of projects across Interconnected Care and the Command Centre and will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects. The Digital Health Senior Project Manager will drive efficient delivery of business outcomes, resolve roadblocks, and ensure project teams are collaborating effectively.

 

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Qualification in ICT/Health related discipline, or suitable relevant health industry ICT experience
  • Qualifications in Project Management or appropriate health-related qualification
  • Qualification in Leadership is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills in managing multiple stakeholders and teams across concurrent streams of development work
  • Experience managing projects of > $1Million
  • Experience with facilitating digital solutions in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record Systems is highly desirable
  • Experience in project management in complex environments is essential
