The Department

Alfred Health Support Services provides non-clinical support services across Alfred Health, these services include cleaning services, car parking and fleet management, waste management, gardens and grounds, distribution, security and access control, ward support, linen services, ancillary services, food services and hospitality.

The Role

The Floor Coordinator is the point of contact for all Alfred Health Support Service staff for on-duty matters. The Floor Coordinator ensures relevant staff are allocated to designated areas to ensure service delivery of Alfred Health Support Services.

Experience and Qualifications Required


  • Experience in a Support Services role in a health care setting
  • Previous supervisory experience of a large and varied workforce
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously 


  • Previous experience in a Supervisory position in a large health care provider
  • Relevant Support Services or leadership qualification
