Alfred Health is seeking Surgical Unaccredited Registrar's for the 2025 clinical year starting February 2025.
 

This role has the key responsibility for co-ordinating the day to day work of various Units and supervision of more junior medical staff and managing their duties. The placement is designed to provide appropriate exposure and experience to enable the doctor to attain the required skills and knowledge for that term in that discipline. In addition, skills progression should assist the registrar to gain future entry to surgical training programs.
 

Rotations on offer include but not limited to:

  • General Surgery Alfred and Sandringham
  • General Surgery Latrobe
  • General Surgery Barwon
  • Trauma Surgery Alfred
  • ICU
  • General Surgery / Nights Relieving


Applications from suitably qualified Medical Officers PGY4+ or registrars are encouraged.
 

Due to the commencement date, you must hold current medical registration with AHPRA and have relevant approved working rights in Australia.
