- Full time (76 hours per fortnight)
- Hours: Rotating shift pattern, Monday to Friday with weekend working required on occasion in line with service needs. Current shift times are 6:30am - 2:36p, 07:00am – 3:06pm, and 11:24am - 7:30pm

The Department
Alfred Health Support Services provides non-clinical support services across Alfred Health, these services include cleaning services, car parking and fleet management, waste management, gardens and grounds, distribution, security and access control, ward support, linen services, ancillary services, food services and hospitality.
The Role
The Menu Monitor provides friendly, attentive and efficient service to Alfred Health patients. The role is responsible for supporting patients with their menu orders and preparing tray labels to meet or exceed expectations of all patients.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Essential
- Current certification in food handling/food safety or willingness to obtain
- Experience in a customer or client facing role is a service delivery organisation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with people from different backgrounds
- In depth expertise of Computer and Food Management software proficiency to ensure patient safety and efficiency
Desirable
- Previous experience in a food service or similar position
- Previous experience with food management software
