About the Role

You will work across all Emergency Psychiatry teams - CATT, EPS (within the Emergency Department), Triage and PACER on rotating shifts 7 days per week.

You will join a young, dynamic team that prides itself on providing excellent care to all our clients regardless of setting or diagnosis. You are co-located with other teams within the CLE program i.e. CL, Hope, Addictions, Neuropsychology and Gambling and will enjoy a collegial and supportive workplace environment.

  • The Crisis Assessment and Treatment Services (CATT) works in the community incorporating early discharge management, assessment, and management of newly referred clients as well as after hour treatment and crisis support to clients of community mental health services inclusive of Adult, Aged and Child and Youth teams within Alfred Health.
  • Triage - the Alfred Psychiatry 24-hour telephone triage referral, advice and support service
  • Emergency Psychiatry Service (EPS) - the Consultation Liaison service to the E&TC providing Mental Health and/or AOD assessment and interventions.  

What you've got

  • Approved tertiary qualifications and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board via AHPRA
  • Post graduate certificate equivalent in mental health
  • Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience including having worked within a community mental health setting
  • Australian working rights

  • Full Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination
  • Current Victorian Driver's License, current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check
