The Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Product Development Lead to join our Analytics Partnering team within the Data & Analytical Services department. This is an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between technical development and business needs, driving the creation of data-driven solutions that transform healthcare delivery.

The Role

As a Product Development Lead at Alfred Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare analytics. You will drive the design and implementation of innovative data solutions that enhance patient care, improve operational efficiency, and support cutting-edge research. You'll work at the intersection of technology and healthcare, leading a collaborative effort to deliver impactful analytics products and services.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design and development of data science and analytics solutions using design thinking methodologies

  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement to capture user needs and business requirements

  • Drive agile project delivery and maintain product backlogs across multiple initiatives

  • Collaborate with data scientists, researchers, and developers to define product roadmaps

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform product decisions

  • Develop KPIs and metrics to measure product success and drive improvements

  • Support grant applications with project feasibility assessments and resource planning

You'll have the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders across the healthcare spectrum, translating complex technical concepts into actionable solutions. This role offers a unique combination of strategic thinking and hands-on product development, directly contributing to improved healthcare outcomes.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Healthcare Management

  • 3+ years of experience in product development, preferably in healthcare analytics

  • Strong background in design thinking and user-centered design principles

  • Experience with agile methodologies and project coordination

  • Excellence in workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement

  • Working knowledge of data science concepts and analytics workflows

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira preferred)

  • Healthcare industry experience (desirable)

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSPO, PMP) are advantageous
