DEPARTMENT/UNIT                                             Monash University FODMAP team is part of the Department of Gastroenterology, Monash University (The Alfred Hospital Campus). This team developed a new therapeutic diet for treating a common gastrointestinal disorder – irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The diet is called the Monash University Low FODMAP Diet.


We are seeking a junior dietitian with some experience with digital marketing and communications to join the certification team to support Monash certified related activities and promotions. This role will be focused on: supporting prospective clients apply for certification and to get their certified products promoted through our various platforms; managing and creating content for the Monash FODMAP Certified social media accounts;; and provide general ad hoc support as need.


The appointee will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • A tertiary or diploma qualification in Marketing, Communication or a relevant field highly regarded. Alternatively, relevant skills and experience in the marketing space (e.g., social media) is highly desirable
  • Experience using Adobe suite, Canva and Hootsuite (or another social media scheduling platform) is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging social media content that aligns with stakeholder style guidelines and editorial requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and respond to queries, in written and oral form, in a professional and timely manner.
