About the Role
Applications are invited for a Dermatologist to work for Alfred Health Dermatology in a Derm Procedural Session for a minimum of 1 x session 3.5 hrs per month, with the opportunity for additional leave cover sessions (up to approx 12 per annum).
Qualifications and Skills Required
Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:
- Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.
- Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists
- Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Dermatology
- Meets Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Dermatology AND scope of practice "Dermatology Complex Procedures"
- Experience in teaching and an involvement in research are desirable
- Outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills
- Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels
- Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/ other teams
