About the team

gambling minds’ (Statewide Mental Health and Gambling Harm Program) goal is to increase the knowledge and capacity of existing services in Vicotria to provide optimal outcomes for clients presenting with co-occurring gambling harms and mental health issues. This is offered through primary and secondary consultations, in addition to training and education.

About the role

The Senior Clinician will provide clinical assessments, short term interventions, consultation and education. The incumbent will work closely with the Co-ordinator and the psychiatrist to determine formulations, diagnostic clarification, treatment planning and recommendations.

Supervision and the delivery of on-line education packages to GHS staff, mental health clinicians and other services who provide assistance to this cohort of individuals, form part of the duties for this role.

About you

  • Approved tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and eligibility for membership with the appropriate professional body (Nursing and Midwifery Board/Occupational Therapy Board/Psychology Board via AHPRA or eligibility with AASW
  • Post graduate qualifications
  • SW/OT/Psy: Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience including having worked within a community mental health setting
  • RPN: Post graduate diploma equivalent as a minimum and 5 years’ experience
  • A Victorian Driver’s licence is essential.
