Bayside Health Alfred Care Group is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services. Alfred Care Group Interventional Radiology (IR) provides care through a range of clinical conditions and patient acuity, including ward rounds, admitting rights and an IR outpatient clinic.
Bayside Health Alfred Care Group is looking for a Locum Diagnostic Radiologist to join the team for 3 months commencing in February 2026. Applications are invited for the position of 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (4 days per week, 9.5 hours per day) Staff Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology to begin as soon as possible. The position would include participation in an on-call roster. Any staff interested in increasing their current fractional appointment can also apply. Please indicate in your cover letter how many extra sessions you are able to do.
Appointees must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency, and hold fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). Appointees must be able to report across multiple modalities of clinical cases managed at a tertiary academic center.
Applicants must meet Alfred Care Group requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Radiology. The successful applicant will be required to provide excellent clinical expertise in diagnostic radiology, to support Bayside Health's teaching, research and clinical governance programs, and to support the strategic priorities and values of Bayside Health.
