Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.

Alfred Haematology is seeking to recruit clinical haematologists on fractional appointments to support the growing allogeneic transplant and CAR-T service. 

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice
  • Fellow of the relevant college
  • Demonstrable extensive knowledge and experience in clinical haematology, allogeneic transplantation/CAR-T is essential
  • Meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Clinical Haematology
  • A higher research degree completion or enrolment, or equivalent research achievement as demonstrated by published work and research grant success will be favoured as Alfred Health Clinical Haematology is a research-focussed department

Preference will be given to candidates who will work across multiple sites in shared care with existing Alfred Health referral and care partners.
