  • Fleet / Car Park Attendant - Casual position 

  • Various hours (Monday - Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm) 

  • Car Park Attendant Grade 2 (KF10) 

  • Located at Caulfield Hospital and The Alfred

The Department 

The Alfred Hospital Fleet & Car Park team requires an energetic individual to assist with the daily fleet and car park operations at our Caulfield Hospital and The Alfred Hospital locations. 

This role will work with our existing energetic and professional fleet and car park team. Reporting to the Car Park & Fleet Manager and the Car Park Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the fleet booth operations by providing excellent customer service, recording, issuing and receiving of vehicle keys, data entry and coordination requirements of the fleet vehicles along with car park related tasks.

 

The Role 

To assist the Car Park & Fleet Manager and the Car Park Team Leader with the day-to-day Fleet vehicle and Car Park activities as well as performing a range of administrative related duties which will ensure courteous, efficient service to all staff, patients and visitors and provide a safe, secure environment for persons and properties within the confines of Alfred Care Groups Car Parks. This role will be performed in a manner that meets or exceeds industry best practices and work closely with the Manager and other Support Services Coordinators to ensure a committed, safe, and socially responsible multi skilled-team. 

 

Skills and Experience Required  

  • Have a 'can do' approach to resolving customer issues 

  • Be accurate in record keeping and data entry 

  • Have sound computer skills. MS Office proficient, Outlook, and Excel 

  • Have good availability throughout weekdays 

  • Previous experience in fleet vehicle and/or car park customer service environment would be highly regarded 

  • Be able to liaise effectively at an inter-departmental level with senior management, other departmental staff, external organisations and contractors 

  • The standard hours of work vary across 5 days Monday - Friday and may include after-hours requirements 

  • A current driver's licence is essential
