Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join Caulfield Community Health Service (CCHS) as a Senior Occupational Therapist.  You will be working as part of a mumultdisciplinary team, and the clinical caseload will be varied, with majority of the clients being over 65 and referred via My Aged Care under the Commonwealth Home Support Program.  Intervention will largely involve equipment prescription, home modifications, and referral and liaison with other services to increase or maintain independence, and reduce risk in the home.You will also be responsible for providing clinical leadership to OT staff and students at CCHS ensuring the ongoing development and provision of high quality evidence based Occupational Therapy Services.

Experience and Qualifications Required

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong clinical and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Have an ongoing commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in home modifications and equipment prescription
  • Experience in clinical supervision of OT staff and students
