- Digital Health Product Owner – Digital Patient Experience
- Fixed Term 6-month contract, secondment would also be considered

The Department
The Digital Health Division is responsible for enabling clinical staff to deliver timely, quality care to our patients and carers through innovative use of information technologies, and through strategic management of information and data across the organisation
The Role
The Digital Patient Experience (DPE) Product Owner reports to the Senior Manager, Products and works with clinical programs and relevant stakeholders across Alfred Care Group and third parties to continue the development of DPE portfolio. The goal of this strategic pillar is to enable a personalised patient experience throughout the health journey such that care is easier to access, is connected to other services, supports the patient to stay engaged with their health journey and empowers the patient to make informed decisions and better manage their care.
Integral to this role is understanding the consumer needs and the clinical program / business goals. The Product Owner will do this by actively collaborating and liaising with Digital Health Leadership, The Patient Experience & Consumer Engagement (PECE) team, clinical program / business stakeholders and technical product development and delivery teams across Digital Health to deliver complex digital products, systems and services.
This is a highly collaborative position, and the Product Owner is responsible for the appropriate co-ordination and communication within Digital Health departments and across the organisation. The position will have a strong emphasis on managing the overall product strategy, feature development roadmap, delivery lifecycle as well as coordination across internal and external teams and vendors to deliver the strategic product roadmap and maximise incremental business value.
Skills
- Product Owner / Manager experience and proven skills in building long-term product visions and releasing products that have met and / or exceeded business objectives.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting as a product owner or similar desirable
- Customer empathy journey creations, user story and persona mapping, design thinking, UX / UI, story boarding, prototyping, user interface documentation skills etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills in managing multiple stakeholders and teams across programs
- Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Health/Business/Marketing or Information Systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
- Excellent team player who values diversity and always demonstrates respect
- Ability to create, track, measure and report on product success using relevant product metrics and KPIs
- Previous experience with software implementations and/or project and program management
- Experience working in close collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders and leading cross functional teams
