About the Role
Applications are invited for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work in our Adult Community Service based at 607 St Kilda Road. This ongoing position is working within our Adult Community CCT team with scope to work within our Navigations and Brief Interventions Service or other components of Adult Community service delivery. The position is fractional 24 hours per week but may be expanded up to full time.

Qualifications and Skills Required
Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:

  • Be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Fellow of the RANZCP
  • Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Psychiatry
  • Meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Psychiatry
  • Outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels
  • Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/ other teams.
