The Department

The Alfred Health Speech Pathology Department is a co-ordinated service across all of Alfred Health which includes The Alfred Hospital; Caulfield Hospital; and Sandringham Hospital.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled  Senior Speech Pathologist to join the Alfred Care Group  Speech Pathology team. 

The Speech Pathology Clinical Educator plays a vital role in the development and enhancement of the Speech Pathology workforce, fostering a culture of clinical learning and best practice across the continuum of care.

This position is responsible for collaboratively identifying education and training needs, designing, implementing, and evaluating high-quality educational programs, and supporting the career growth of Speech Pathologists at all levels, including clinicians in specialty roles.

The educator will work closely with clinical teams, stakeholders, and the leadership group to ensure that education efforts align with organizational goals whilst adhering to best practices and evidence-based approaches.

The educator will work with and be professionally accountable to the Allied Health Education Lead for education frameworks, alignment, and ensuring clinical education aligns with agreed professional education priorities across Bayside Health.
