The Department:
Fairfield Centre is a purpose built inpatient ward which has been co-designed in consultation with the PLHIV community after the closure of Fairfield House in April 2020.
This 6-bed inpatient ward is located on Level 1, Alfred Lane House and will offer a subacute model of care from Monday-Friday.
Position Summary:
The Grade 2 Registered Nurse will be responsible for direct patient care within The Fairfield Centre under the direction and support of a nursing leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity for nurses to provide care coordination and support to PLHIV in a unique sub-acute model of care.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
Experience in HIV services or Infectious Diseases highly desirable
Recent acute clinical nursing background in a relevant health service
Current and satisfactory Police Check
Current and satisfactory Working With Children Check
