About the Department
Alfred Care Group Pharmacy Department is well recognised for high quality and innovative patient- focused services, education and training programmes as well as significant research output. The service operates over 4 sites within The Alfred Care Group, and continually advocates for postgraduate learning and research interests, with supportive partnerships and expert mentors available to foster staff development.
The department also has a leading Digital Health strategy, playing a pivotal role in managing the electronic medicine management system within our comprehensive electronic medical record (Cerner), with an advanced level of integration linking this to the Pharmacy Dispensing (iPharmacy) and Automated Medication Storage systems (Omnicell). This is complemented by a strong clinical presence and a Centre for Medicine Use and Safety program to achieve a considered, safe and financially responsible approach to medicine management within the Alfred Care Group.

About the Team
The Pharmacy Operations team consists of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working across all campuses and services across Alfred Care Group. Our operational workforce maintains the provision of our services across key areas of our business including Inpatient, Discharge and Outpatient dispensary services, Aseptic and Manufacturing services and Clinical Trials.
About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated pharmacists to join our operational team. As an operational pharmacist, you will work closely with your fellow team members across the different campuses for the provision of pharmacy services. You will work across inpatient and outpatient dispensaries, aseptics and manufacturing services, the medical day unit and provide support to our offsite dispensaries at Caulfield, Sandringham and Melbourne Sexual Health.
