An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced Dietitian to join the Integrative Oncology Unit within the Alfred Cancer Program. This is your chance to be part of an innovative and rapidly evolving service that is redefining how supportive cancer care is delivered holistically to outpatients living with and beyond cancer.

Now in its second year of operation, the Integrative Oncology Unit is located within the Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre (PFMCC) - a purpose-built, multidisciplinary centre designed to provide world-class, patient-centred care. The outpatient unit delivers evidence-based therapies that sit alongside traditional oncology treatments, empowering patients and families to optimise health, wellbeing, and quality of life throughout their cancer journey.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to the continued growth and development of this exciting new service.

The Role

As a Grade 2 Dietitian in the new Integrative Oncology Unit, you'll play a pivotal role in optimising the health and wellbeing of oncology patients through specialised nutritional care and education. You will conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, tailor individualised dietary plans and provide ongoing counselling support to patients during and beyond treatment, in line with their health and wellbeing goals. Your role will also involve delivering and evaluating practical group based educational initiatives for patients and families.
