Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

About Our Team
The Alfred Pathology Service (APS) is key to providing integrated and timely diagnostic capabilities as part of the largest public pathology laboratory network in Victoria.
Alfred Health supports the local community while addressing complex state-wide needs, including trauma, organ transplantation and HIV/AIDS diagnostics. APS conducts all pathology testing for multiple hospitals, offering a comprehensive range of services through five specialized units: Anatomical Pathology, Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, and Human Molecular Pathology.
APS is committed to education and professional development, providing excellent learning opportunities for students and clinicians. Position Summary
The Clinical Trials Officer role is to provide support in the management and coordination of Clinical Trials and Research activities. Key responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, contracts, trial agreements, audits, regulatory compliance, ethics submissions, and the implementation of standard operating procedures. The role also involves fostering and maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
About You - Experience, Skills and Qualifications Required
Essential:
- Current Police Check
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License
- Working with Children’s Check
- A degree qualification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualification in laboratory procedures or biological sciences.
- Previous experience with the iPM and Cerner PathNet Millennium system.
