On 1 January 2026, Alfred Health will come together with Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service to create Bayside Health, a newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. About the Department

About the Team
The Pharmaceutical Management team is responsible for the procurement, distribution and governance of medicine supply across Alfred Health. This is managed through a unique, proactive and co-ordinated approach; utilising close working relationships with external suppliers (Symbion, Baxter) to deliver medications to both Pharmacy and Pharmacy related medication imprest areas across the organisation.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team as Inventory and Procurement Technician. In this position, you will deliver the daily functions of the pharmacy distributions and stores teams, including facilitating the supply of pharmaceuticals across all campuses of Alfred Health, both wards and dispensaries. Working directly with the Distributions seniors and closely with the Procurement and broader Pharmaceutical Management team, you will be responsible for stock management, record keeping and contributing to quality improvement projects in the Pharmacy Store.

Qualifications/Experience Required
Previous store and stock control work desirable
Hospital experience desirable but not essential
Pharmacy experience desirable but not essential
Experience and familiarity with procurement, forecasting, planning and warehouse environments an advantage
