An exciting secondment opportunity has become available within the Clinical Governance Unit, Alfred Health.  This well supported role offers the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in clinical risk management.   We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic clinician committed to patient safety to join our team.

  • Permanent opportunity
  • Part Time at 60.8 hours per fortnight
  • Management and Administrative Grade 5 (HS5) Depending on Experience

The Department

The Clinical Governance Unit (CGU) consists of three streams who work closely with each other and collaboratively with a range of Departments and Committees to support the implementation of the Clinical Governance Program across Alfred Health

The Role

The Clinical Risk Coordinator provides support for incident reporting and management, incident investigation, mortality screening and quality improvement work related to responding to known clinical risks. 

Qualification & Experience Required

  • Significant experience in a clinical health discipline
  • Tertiary health sciences qualification
  • Experience in managing a quality or risk management portfolio
  • Masters level of tertiary training preferred by not essential
