About us
The Education and Training Pillar exists to increase the support our staff have to learn and grow throughout their careers, so that they feel competent and capable in their roles.
Workplace education and training are vital for the allied health workforce at Alfred Health to ensure the highest standards of patient care and service delivery. Allied health staff work across diverse specialties, and continuous Page 3 of 5 training keeps them updated on the latest evidence-based practice. Education and training enhance interprofessional collaboration, critical in multidisciplinary settings, improving patient outcomes and minimizing treatment errors. Regular training supports the development of specialized skills, advances clinical expertise, and increases job satisfaction.
The Allied Health Education and Training Pillar seeks to strategically lead and model scoping, design, development, implementation and evaluation of sustainable education resources, that are shared across our diverse workforce.
